PROVIDING ROUTINE EXAMS AND WELL PATIENT VISITS.
When scheduling your appointment, please be aware that priority will be given to patients with an urgent need or medical conditions that require an eye exam or monitoring.
The safety of our patients and staff is our number one concern.
We are taking extra precautions to ensure the environment inside our office is as safe as possible. In addition to decreasing the number of patients scheduled to allow for increased cleaning and disinfection practices, there are a number of requirements as you visit our office:
- Regardless of the reason for the visit, everyone entering our office must wear a face mask or cover. Please plan to provide your own.
- Only the schedule patient will be allowed to enter, unless assistance from a caregiver or guardian is required. Please DO NOT bring additional family members.
- Upon entering for an appointment, everyone will be asked to use hand sanitizer or wash their hands. During their visit their temperature will be taken and a series of screening questions will be asked. These are standard questions asked of anyone entering a place of business during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please familiarize yourself with these questions (see below). Anyone who fails the screening will be required to reschedule their visit.
- We ask that you limit touching anything in the office as much as possible. We have removed all literature in the office and have created a social distancing arrangement in the waiting room in the event that you will need to be seated there.
- We ask that registration for new patients be completed online before your visit. The online registration can be accessed by clicking the link below.
- When looking at glasses in the optical, you will be required to do so with the assistance of a staff member. Once any frame is removed from the frame board, they will be placed into a tray to be sanitized before being replaced by our staff.
IF YOU ANSWER YES TO ANY OF THE BELOW QUESTIONS, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT AT THIS TIME
- Have you had close contact with a person with symptomatic lab-confirmed COVID-19 infection or a person who is currently being evaluated by a healthcare provider or has been instructed to self quarantine/monitor for the symptoms of COVID-19?
- Have you traveled or been in contact with someone who has traveled within the last 14 days to a country or region, abroad or within the United States, with sustained transmission of COVID-19?
- Are you currently experiencing a respiratory illness, with or without a fever, making it difficult to refrain from frequent coughing or sneezing?
- Are you currently experiencing a recent loss of smell or change in taste?
